“Let’s get something straight, life was doing too much back in 2013- Lupus?! Like I couldn’t believe that diagnosis and of all times, after my 21st birthday. But God knew what he was doing and knew that the diagnosis, at some point would give me the strength and courage to find my path! Lupus affected my skin for a long time and it made me focus on bettering it and finding what worked for me. What’s the first thing you notice on someone’s face? For me its the brows or just the eye area. It made me be hyperaware to that part of my face and always focusing on what products would enhance that area and provide a new level of confidence.

Then boom, I got the nerve to attend beauty school and though the experience wasn’t what I expected it was the place where Courtesy of Court was born. I never not thought I would be an entrepreneur, but dang, I never thought I would have the courage to start a brow business. I don’t know if this business will stay with brows or expand but I love that I started with something I’m passionate about. I know being professional is key, but I also want my voice to be stitched into every aspect of this business. I can only be transparent with my customers and show ME and that’s always going to come first. But I cuss, I’m not always as polished as I appear, I can be too honest and I say all that to say- you’ll always get the best from ME.
